About us

Kaizen was founded by professional climber Buster Martin. Buster was part of the first generation of wall-bred highly trained climbers, having his routes in indoor competition climbing and training. Buster set out to educate himself on the science of training for climbing and take a conscious, structured approach to his own improvement resulting in achieving world class standards across the disciplines. Having been there and done it himself, as well as having the academic background, Buster has an in depth experience and understanding of climbing performance and the progression steps required to reach your goals.

Buster is passionate about sharing this knowledge and experience in an easy to understand and personal way, one that works for you to help you achieve your climbing goals.

Kaizen is a Japanese theory based upon continuously improving each and every aspect of your performance incrementally. This is a principle and approach that Buster truly believes in, both in his own climbing and his coaching.
