The Progression Program // Training Team

I’m Buster, a dedicated climber and coach working with everyone from weekend warriors to Olympic athletes.

I’ve been climbing for nearly 20 years and have spent most of that time studying the science and art of training for climbing, consolidating my knowledge with a degree in sports therapy. Applying this to my own climbing, I’ve climbed 9a+/5.15a four times, V14 boulders, and iconic routes like Action Directe and Hubble.

As a coach, I’ve worked with climbers from all walks of life—9b athletes, international route setters, Olympians, and those just starting out, whether it’s chasing their first 7a on rock or nailing a MoonBoard project while balancing busy family and work lives.

My experience has shown me how far some structure and accountability can go, which is why I’ve created this training team.

Join me and the community and we’ll work together to help you achieve your climbing goals or even just stay consistent with your training.
